Jackson County Historical Museum
The museum contains many interesting exhibits and artifacts related to the colorful history of Jackson County, Tennessee. The museum is operated by the Jackson County Historical Society as a tribute to the people of Jackson County.
The Historical Society meets on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 PM. Visitors are welcome.
Jackson County Archives and Veterans Hall
Jackson County Veterans Hall features photographs and memorabilia related to conflicts throughout American history. The Archives is the official depository for historic records related to local government.
Historic Granville
Located on Cordell Hull lake, the town of Granville features the 1880's Sutton General Store, Granville Museum, Sutton Homestead, Pioneer Village, and Antique Car Museum. It also hosts frequent festivals and events.
Cummins Falls State Park
This rugged park is located on the Blackburn Fork State Scenic River. It has been a scenic spot and swimming hole for local residents of Jackson and Putnam counties for more than 100 years.
Tennessee Trails and Byways
Several of Tennessee’s historic trails have connections to Jackson County and nearby places in the Upper Cumberland.
